SAVE THE DATE! Duke’s Trail Tour 2014
Local Belgian Shepherd, Duke, is inviting fellow canines and their “humans” to be part of a very special walk in support of the Peterborough Humane society this spring.
On Sunday, June 22, Duke and his person Sofie will be hosting the first annual Legacy Walk: Duke’s Trail Tour in support of the Peterborough Humane Society. Duke, a PHS rescue, has overcome the abuse he suffered as a puppy with the love of his forever home family, and the freedom he found exploring trails around the world.
With a vast array of trail-systems available to Peterborough and the Kawarthas, Duke (and Sofie) thought it was high time to spread the love and get others trekking, all for a great cause.
Stay tuned for details and spread the word! This is a walk you and your canine pal won’t want to miss.
Registration will take place between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. It will be a staggered start so we don’t have people and dogs bunching up on the trails.
We have had a few people inquiry about the fee to participate in Duke’s Trail Tour. We would like to confirm THERE IS NO FEE TO PARTICIPATE. Those wishing to take part in Duke’s Trail Tour can either donate $45 OR collect pledges. We apologize for the confusion this may of caused and look forward to seeing everyone on the trails! Please follow this link to the Duke’s Trail Tour website for start time and location.
