Timmy Goes Home!

Jan 27, 2025

Timmy was in the care of the Peterborough Humane Society for 268 days in 2024. He was a staff and community favourite and stole the hearts of all who met him!

As a longer stay resident at PHS, Timmy was promoted frequently in hopes he would find his furever home. From socials, to Global Peterborough’s Shelter Pet Project, to Bell Pet of the Week, and Our Pet Pilsner Pet of the Month (twice!); Timmy had the community pushing for his success. A generous donor even sponsored his adoption fee!

This past December, Newsweek promoted Timmy in a feature for fellow long stay shelter residents. We are thrilled to share, Newsweek has now also shared the exciting news of Timmy’s adoption!
