Events at Peterborough Humane Society

PHS 50/50 Lottery & Marlin Travel ‘Ruff’le

Peterborough Humane Society is excited to announce the return of the PHS 50/50 Lottery! This time, it’s bigger and better than ever! For the first time, the PHS 50/50 Lottery will have an EARLY BIRD prize of $500! 50/50 tickets purchased before September 25th will be part of the $500 early bird draw!

The Fall PHS 50/50 Lottery will have an incredible secondary draw as well. You can buy tickets for the Marlin Travel ‘Ruff’le for your chance to win a $5,000 gift certificate from Marlin Travel Peterborough. Imagine having $5,000 to spend at Marlin Travel! Pumpkin Palooza

Patrick McCauley and his team from McCauley Real Estate Group will be onsite at the shelter on Saturday October 5th for their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Palooza.

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be available to purchase by donation, with all proceeds supporting PHS.

The event runs from 12pm-3pm at the shelter. We hope to see you there!

Halloween Photoshoot & Adoption Event at Ren’s Pets Peterborough

Join us at Ren’s Peterborough on Saturday October 19th for a Fall/Halloween photoshoot with Peter Hanmore Photography. Each session is $20 and you will receive 2 digital images with an option to purchase more.

Sessions will be booked on a first come-first serve basis by visiting or contacting the store at 705-740-.1659. By booking a spot for your furry friend, you are supporting the animals in our care.

We will also have an adoption event from 12pm-3pm. Visit our Adoption page to see the current cats available for adoption.
