Join us in our mission to keep animals & people together and cared for through a pop-up pantry event for those in need this holiday season! A community initiative to help make sure every animal enjoys the health and happiness they deserve. Our goal is to reduce barriers to ensure support reaches those individuals and families in our community who may be experiencing hardships beyond their control that impacts their furry friends.

How Can You Help?

• The PHS Christmas Pet Pantry is made possible with the support of generous donations. If you wish to donate items, please drop off your donations to 1999 Technology Drive, Peterborough ON during our operating hours.
  (Dog & cat food, treats, toys, litter and beds appreciated)
• Or reach out to Sara McKenzie, Social Services Coordinator at [email protected] for questions or to arrange pick up of donations as needed.

How Can You Access?

• Dog and cat food available for pick up, and grab a Christmas gift bag for your pet, all while supplies last.
• Visit the Peterborough Lions Community Centre, Sisson Room, between 11am-7pm to pick up.

• The event is made possible by donations, therefore we cannot guarantee specific products will be available. Our goal is to support as many people and animals in the community as possible, for this reason gift bags and pet food are limited to one (of each) per person/family.
• This is an open event to the community. By attending the event, you understand and permit the Peterborough Humane Society’s use of media (video, photo, etc.) at the event and future use as it relates to PHS’, sponsors’, and donors’ marketing and programming. Please email us in advance or notify staff upon arrival of the event if this is a concern and we will do our best to accommodate your request not to be featured.
