March Break - PAWesome Kids Camp 👫
We are excited announce our PAWesome Kids Camp is back for March Break! Camp will run from Monday March 10th-Friday March 14th between 9am-4pm each day.
Our camp programming offers participants a chance to learn about Humane Education in a fun and interactive way. Each day, participants spend time getting to know the animals in our care, creating crafts and participating in animal themed activities.
For this session, we are inviting participants ages 7-10 to join us. If you have an animal enthusiast who would like to spend the week with us, register here!
PHS Furry Friend Training Academy 🏫
We are excited to be launching the PHS Furry Friend Training Academy to help provide essential behaviour and training services to members of our community. We will be starting with a puppy group class, an adult dog group class, behaviour consultations for dogs and cats, and private training sessions.
In providing these services, we hope to fulfill a need within the community by offering preventative training and assistance to community members who are experiencing behaviour concerns with their pets. By offering these services we hope to be able to reduce the number of animals that are surrendered to our organization.
See the links below to book one of these services:
PHS Pawsitive Progress Private Training Package – this is a package of 4 or 6 one on one training sessions to focus on foundational skills, basic manners, puppy behaviours, and more without the distraction of other dogs and people.
Cat Behaviour Consultation – speak with a certified trainer to help address any of the following, inappropriate urination/defecation, human-directed aggression, excessive vocalization, fear, anxiety, and stress of normal stimuli, cat-directed aggression, and more. These consultations are virtual.
Dog Behaviour Consultation – meet in-person or virtually with a certified trainer to discuss and work through behaviour concerns like leash reactivity, resource guarding, human-directed aggression, high levels of fear, anxiety, and stress in everyday situations, and more.

PHS Polite Pooch Adult Dog Group Class Mar 6-Apr 10 – this is a group class for up to 4 dogs, and will focus on basic manners and relationship building between you and your canine companion. This class is suitable for dogs 4 months and up.
