Peterborough Humane Society (PHS) is located at 1999 Technology Drive in our newly built, state-of-the-art Animal Care Centre. At PHS, we envision a world where compassion for animals and their well-being is ingrained in the fabric of society.
Our mission is to be the voice for animals through community outreach, humane education, and adoption; to keep animals and humans together through enhanced care and support; and to reduce pet overpopulation through accessible services.

Animal Care Centre
Our new Animal Care Centre helps more pets get and stay healthy; find their perfect people; and continue the cycle of health and happiness together. This helps make the community happier and healthier by bringing new jobs, national attention and new resources to the City of Peterborough, Peterborough County, the surrounding region and beyond for generations to come.
