What is a DAF?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account. You give money or investments and receive a tax receipt right away. Then you recommend grants to registered Canadian charities over time, whenever you're ready.

Why give through a DAF?

A DAF lets you give on your own schedule. You decide when to recommend a grant and who receives it, and your fund can grow before it's granted. A grant to the Peterborough Humane Society supports the animals in our care and helps us support both ends of the leash.
